In the midst of one of the worst afternoons of my entire life, I suddenly received the best advice ever. I know sage guidance is supposed to come from on high, or from your great-grandmother at an early age, but I was 49 and slowly losing it. It was about time I began to grasp the deeper truths of life, but I certainly didn’t expect to gain them from a TV talk show.
A few months after losing my job, I felt permanently unemployable. No matter how hard I tried, I felt I could not find another place of employment, anywhere! My life felt like it was slowly disappearing down the toilet, and I honestly had no idea where to turn for my next house payment. Desperation had set in with a vengeance!
