About Laura Lee

Before transitioning into her work as a professional editor, speaker, blog mistress/consultant, author, and life change coach,   Laura Lee worked as an academic librarian, teacher and researcher at four major universities for over 25 years. (see resume)

With bachelor and master degrees in Chinese language and history, Laura Lee spent years living in East Asia.  In 1995 she earned an M.A. degree in transpersonal counseling psychology from Naropa University.  She now provides life change coaching for those struggling to change in midlife.

In 2006, Laura Lee began her work as a freelance writer.  Please see her clips.  Her investigative reports and profiles have since appeared in American History Magazine, The Coloradan Alumni Magazine, The Erickson Tribune, Healing Path Magazine, Journey Magazine, Lydia's Style Magazine, Wild West Magazine, and WOW-Women on Writing.  She is a proud member of the Colorado Authors' League.

She also enjoys writing about the many fortuitous misfortunes she suffered around age 50, changes which led to self-discovery, career change, and finally finding true love in midlife. Humor and wisdom gained are common themes in her essays.
